Canon EOS 7D Review
Canon introduced at the end of 2009 a new Digital SLR camera called EOS 7D, this one is designed for the entry level professionals or wannabe film directors, a category that canon has just been lacking in the past few years, but the tide seem to be changing in it's favor, as this one seems to be a top contender.
A camera with a difference
Although it is ostensibly similar to the other items within its class, the Canon EOS 7D is in fact a unique addition to the repertoire of digital products that are on the market at the moment. This is a purpose built gadget that does not make any fuss about its high pedigree and unmatched performance.
The portability issue for the Canon EOS 7D is well within the range that we expect of the SLR product line. However in this instance you have the portability combined with the high functionality. There is an 18 inch megapixel facility that will give you clear images for high resolution. The body is made of alloys and magnesium. This gives it a light touch but also the strength to withstand pressure. The integrated cleaning system is far better than the other cameras within the series. The 150 000 shutter releases are just one of the great features that you get with the Canon EOS 7D.
The Canon EOS 7D for professionals
With the textured surfaces we expect a smooth handling for the Canon EOS 7D. The two control wheels are made for easy manipulation. You can take photographs without having to fiddle with so many different elements. The spinning dial has been placed in a position that gives it the best impact on the way that you take photographs. The system that is used is the APS-C CMOS model. This automatically gives you an ISO range from 100 units to 12 800. In effect you can click even if you do not have the external flashgun that comes with other cameras. If you are taking pictures in bad weather then this will be a feature that is very useful.
The Canon EOS 7D comes with a DIGIC Four processor which makes sure that your images are of the highest quality. The people that have used the camera say that you can shoot up to eight frames per second. The speedup process is much quicker than the other cameras within the range. You can also easily review the images that you have taken. With the auto focus function you will able to see what you are doing. The Canon EOS 7D has been given a new AF sensor. This carries 19 AF points. The line sensors have a very high precision that helps in the management of the process. The other AF facilities in normal cameras are just not that focused in the work that they do.
The Creative Zone is a great function for the professional photographers. The Canon EOS 7D camera supports up to 1080p in high definition modes. The frame rate is at 24fps. The inbuilt microphone is a great feature and you can even connect to the external sources.

Customers Reviews
Any and all review will not be complete without a pros and cons of each product, and this is no exceptions, the only difference is that I will sum up all the feedback around the web, in this one place, for your comfort and better understand on what to expect from the EOS 7D
Pros:
Good battery life
Nice features/settings
Quick Start-up time
Excellent image quality
Superior build quality
Bright LCD
Solid Operation
Simple controls/menu
Excellent Viewfinder
Fast Auto-focus
Cons:
Noisey at higher iso
Slightly Heavy
Automatic gain control
In general the people that have had the opportunity to use the camera have pointed out its simplicity of concept. They are also particularly pleased about the way that it handles. You do not have to be a professional to get the very best service from the camera. In short this has been a great success on different fronts.

Love the review. My first camera was a Canon and I loved it- the camera always knew what I wanted from it. I now have a different one because that one got fried (my fault) in the rain. It's not nearly as good and I don't take as many pictures with it. I'm not comfortable with it, I guess. But I would love to get my hands on this Canon, sounds great, very thorough. Thank you!
