Wii

If you have been living in a absolute seclusion to the world, and eventually missed out on Nintendo latest game console, let me just say you have been missing out on a lot. Wii is a game console that basically calls to action, and by action i mean physical action, in most wii games you will have to jump, kick, punch, balance, swing and so on, and this is where all the fun lies really, we have been used to play just sitting and giving our fingers some exercise, but those days are long gone. So if you never did try it, please do, you won't regret it, also this is much more family oriented, and if you are a parent, you can even play this safely with your kids, and not worrying they become a couch potato, since they will be actively exercising.

Wii Fit Plus Review

So now that we got introductions out of the way, lets head on to the main subject at hand, the latest sequel to the ever popular Wii Fit, If you did try the original, you surely know that despite all things the main goal here is to get/stay in shape having fun in the process, and we get to do this using the balance board (you really need it to play this game), that is a really advanced scale, that measures pressure applied to the board with great precision.

We are doing a Wii Fit Plus Review, lets just cut to the chase and let you know what you can expect to find in this new version.

First of all like the name suggest this is not a major rebuild or anything like that, i would call it an expansion really, since it has all the games that come with wii fit, and some more. Most of these new options are located in the Training Plus option, so you will find them easily.

One of the fresh things you can do is target training to a given body part, of a given goal (toning), this new feature is called Suggested Routines, these are all new routines since the ones available in the original version were a lot more generic and less targeted

Kung Fu Gameplay

These new routines, as you might have guessed are still part of the yoga lessons, and are more of a ad-don to exiting ones.

The fun part starts here, we found out in this Wii Fit Plus Review there are 15 new refreshing  games:

  • Tilt City
  • Skateboard Arena
  • Bird's Eye Bull's Eye
  • Balance Bubble Plus
  • Table Tilt Plus
  • Snowball Fight
  • Driving Range
  • Big Top Juggling
  • Rhythm Parade
  • Perfect 10
  • Rhythm Kung Fu
  • Island Cycling
  • Obstacle Course
  • Basic Run Plus
  • Segway Circuit

These new games will keep you busy for a really long time, and still most of them will burn up those calories also.

Final Toughts

There you have a then, a lot has improved in this Wii Fit upgrade, some annoying bugs are now long gone, some stayed (BMI still only takes into account height and weight = FAIL once more), but overall this will definitely put you back into the balance board if you were already bored with the original games. On the other hand if you never had any contact with this game, this is the perfect opportunity to do so, as you will be unbiased, and you really will take years to get fed up with this, in the meantime you will become fit and athletic, win win situation really.

So enough reading, get up and start balancing :), on the other hand you stayed put, drop a line on the matter, and share with us your own Wii Fit Plus Review.
